| yeah ummm...i've stopped updating for awhile now due to lack of interest. this is my second xanga (the first was worse than this one)...and this one sucks pretty bad...i dont know how to do all that cool shit that makes these things look cool...and my settings are all messed up...oh well...so as i bid thee adieu i leave you with this...
"I don’t look upon this like it’s the end, I look upon it like it’s moving on you know. It’s almost like my work here’s done. I can’t imagine Jesus going ‘Oh, I’ve told a few people in Bethlehem I’m the son of God, can I just stay here with Mum and Dad now?’ No. You gotta move on. You gotta spread the word. You gotta go to Nazareth, please. And that’s, very much like...me. My world does not end within these four walls, Slough’s a big place. And when I’ve finished with Slough, there’s Reading, Aldershot, Bracknell, you know I’ve got to-Didcott, Yately. You know. My-Winersh, Taplow. Because I am my own boss, I can-Burfield. I can wake up one morning and go ‘Ooh, I don’t feel like working today, can I just stay in bed?’ ‘Ooh, don’t know, better ask the boss.’ ‘David can I stay in bed all day?’ ‘Yes you can David.’ Both me, that’s not me in bed with another bloke called David.” -David Brent after being fired (The Office) | | |

u know how they say the college years are the best years of your life? well, i havent even been here for a week, but let me tell ya..."they" were so right. austin is very kickass...and the peeps in our dorm are CrAzY! but its awesome. mac and cheese will be served next week cuz of popular request (by yours truly). and i've been plotting to get all the floors to pitch in and throw a foam party in the hallway (equipped with a slip-n-slide, rolly chairs, and of course booze). and if u ever see dan, tell his british ass that we're all looking for him!
lol moments: 1) flowers being delivered to ashley teat's room... 2) hsu getting his ices 3) 15th floor parade 4) the guy in all white going on a macaroni strike by walking all around the dorm asking ppl if they like mac n cheese

today was a bad day for squirrels...i kinda ran over one today...i'm no squirrel killer but the little fucker ran right into my car. i stopped as fast as i could but it was too late. i feel horrible. maybe he wanted to die...maybe he was having a really shitty day and after contemplating suicide, he figured this would be the best way to go. or maybe he was trying to pull a dare-devil stunt to fit in with his other squirrel friends. or maybe he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time...whatever the reason, little Nutters (thats what i decided to name him) is no longer with us. a moment of silence in Nutters' memory...
on a lighter note: i finally heard Green Day's new single "American Idiot" today. their cd of the same title comes out September 21 so naturally i cant wait!
speaking of parties... according to this http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/package.jsp?name=fte/partyschool/partyschool, UT is ranked #7 among the biggest party colleges in the nation...it's gonna be great...

ok...so now i am officially the advertising agent for 2 of my favorite local (and not so local) bands. first we have Lafa-Tus (pronounced "laugh-at-us"). these boys are all the way from the tiny town of Pierce, Nebraska and they really know how to rock. they put on a great live show and have quite a following in Nebraska. they have a punky, Blink-182 sound. they also sell t-shirts, hats, and cds. for more info, check out http://lafa-tus.com. here's the band and me (keep in mind this was from a year ago).

thats ben (bass), zach (drums), me (no musical talent whatsoever), and nate (guitar and lead vocals).
the second is Two-Thirds Lotus. these guys are from Galveston and have played at the The Engine Room. members include Colin (guitar), John (drums), Jarvis (bass), and Carter (lead vocals). they have more of an edgy sound kinda like Dashboard Confessional and Red Hot Chili Peppers. i've only heard them on their cd, but they really can rock. they also have a rap group called Gulf Coast Gangstas in which they rewrite rap songs. who said white boys cant rap???
*i have cds of both bands so if youre interested, tell me and i'll make u a copy!
